Because Adults Have Wishes Too!

Welcome to the online home of a unique organization
that specializes in providing opportunities for adults
with a life-threatening medical condition to "Seize the Day."
Carpe Diem USA exists because adults have wishes too,
and our mission is to provide adventures, experiences and
non-medical assistance that will enrich the lives of adults
who are battling a life threatening illness.
There is never any cost to the individual.

Some of our adventures and experiences could include:
  • a day at a local theme park with the family
  • a family vacation
  • sporting event, concert or a night out on the town
  • a hot air balloon ride
  • rock climbing
  • rafting, canoeing or kayaking
  • airplane/glider rides
  • practicing with a local sports team
  • visiting a distant friend or relative
  • spending some time with someone you admire
We will also arrange and pay for reasonable costs associated with
non-medical assistance that would contribute to a better quality of
life for the individual.  In the past we have paid for minor home
renovations to improve ease of mobility and the installation of a
hot tub to help reduce the patient's bone pain from cancer.
The bottom line is that we will do whatever we can, within our power
and financial means,to help fulfill a wish for any adultwho is battling
a life-threatening illness.

Carpe Diem USA Foundation has applied for but not yet received a determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service that is currently in effect, stating that the organization is exempt from federal income taxation under section 501(a) and described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Any funds raised will be used for our stated mission and to pay for minimal administrative expenses.
